Hair : Bleach London
Hey guys! So yesterday I decided I wanted to something different with my hair! Therefore I picked up some bleach London products from boots. I decided I wanted to bleach my hair a lot more and then add a sort of washed out pink to it, and oh my glob. The bleach kit was one of the easiest kits I have used! It came with a wide comb that made it super easy to brush through the hair and it took straight away! I am so happy with how blonde it is after leaving it on for 35 minutes. After I had washed the bleach out I gave it a rinse with the rose shampoo and although I didn’t leave it on long enough it still added some pink tones to my hair. Next time I wash it I’m going to leave it on a little longer so as to add a bit more vibrancy to the colour. But overall I am super happy with the results!! And feeling great about my hair. Thanks Bleach London! Xo
So of course after getting my student loan yesterday I had to spend a little on makeup! However I spent a lot less than I was expecting. After spending some time shopping I found some really great pieces in new look of all places. For £5.99 I got the cutest little powder contour kit which I’m really excited to try out so I’ll keep you guys updated on that. Also as I’m trying my best to look after my nails this year by using cuticle oil and hand cream I also treated myself to some pretty great nail varnishes 2 of which are matte and the third is a surprisingly great glitter pink nail varnish that has a really bold finish unlike most cheap glitter nail varnishes that tend to give you about 3 pieces of glitter on one nail. These were £2.99 each!! I’ve always loved new look and now finding out they have a great beauty range has just made me love them more. Xo
I just had the best shower ever! Now I don’t usually use anything that isn’t from lush when I shower/bathe but as I was given a lot of new stuff for Christmas I thought I should give them a go. One of my favourite smelling things I was given is a set from Treacle Moon, my coconut island. I have never smelt something that’s coconutty and creamy in my life! And it made my skin super soft. My goal this year is to look after my self a lot better, skin, nails, hair, body just everything I want to be so much healthier and happier this year. I’ve also started using tresemme shampoos and conditioners a lot more so my boyfriends mum got me some huge bottle which makes me happy (go me!) it’s been keeping my hair shiny and soft since I started dying it blonde. Last but not least my simple spotless skin triple action face wash to help repair my skin after all those Christmas chocolates. I reccommend all of these products as I know feel crazy relaxed and smell awesome!!! Xo
I have only just realised that my three favourite make up products all seem to be maybelline items! I couldn’t live without these three things and I’m so sad that my master sculpt contour kit is running low. I would definitely recommend these products and here’s why:….
1. Maybelline Master Sculpt contour kit in fair, this is such a wonderful contour kit that comes with a powdered shaper and highlighter along with a small brush and a cute little mirror. I love how well it blends and the slight glitter sheen that comes with the highlighter giving you a cute little glow. My favourite by far!
2. Maybelline ink master matte eyeliner. A great little eyeliner I’ve recently started using that is long lasting and has a great precision brush for getting the deadliest points.
3. Maybelline lash sensational mascara. This is one of the nicest mascaras I have used. It has a slightly curved brush which makes your eyelashes look as naturally long as possible also it doesn’t seem to clump!! A great buy.
I really would recommend all three of these products as I use them every day and I would swear by them. Xo
My skincare routine is pretty simple…I don’t have one! I very rarely wash my face and I hardly ever use moisturisers or toners. The only thing I do on a daily basis is use face wipes to remove my make up. I have always been told I have great skin and I very rarely have break outs. However as I now work in a bakery there are times that my skin can get a bit oily and working with the ovens on a regular basis can cause my skin to break out a little so when that happens I love using lush products as they are so kind to my skin and don’t clog up my pores. My favourite product being the catastrophe cosmetic face mask, the blueberry filled face mask really refreshes my skin and hides any redness from spots. I really recommend it for people looking for a refreshing face mask that leaves your skin soft and clear. It really works wonders especially alongside the herbalism cleanser which also uses its green tone to get rid of red blemishes. They really are amazing products.
Took some of my old tubs back to Lush today and got my favourite face mask Catastrophe Cosmestic. It does absolute wonders for my skin and I’m so happy to have a fresh stock of it! Also I was a little naughty and picked up some other little treats for myself all where recommended by the lovely lady that helped me today. Lush will always be my favourite place to shop. Can’t wait to update you all in bath time with these bad boys!
I try to be good to my skin as much as possible, I’ve never been one to use harsh chemicals or even soap! I have always been complimented on my skin and when people ask me what my daily routine is my reply is always nothing. The only thing I do on a daily basis is take my makeup off with a face wipe! Too many scrubs and moisturisers just make it worse in my opinion. However who doesn’t love a good face mask when they are trying to relax!? The best thing about lush is that even if you do use more of their moisturisers or face scrubs their is nothing in them that will do more harm than good. A favourite of mine for when I occasionally do get break outs is the Herbalism cleanser, not only does is gently exfoliate the skin in a way that shows immediate results but the green tint instantly reduces the redness of spots so you’re skin looks incredible from first use. I would 10000% recommend to anyone and everyone.
